- Kapitel 35 -

Then Moses assembled all the Congregation of the children of Israel, and sayd vnto them, These are the wordes which the Lord hath commanded, that ye should do them:

Six dayes thou shalt work, but the seuenth day shall bee vnto you the holy Sabbath of rest vnto the Lord: whosoeuer doth any worke therein, shall die.

Ye shall kindle no fire throughout all your habitations vpon the Sabbath day.

Offerings for the Tabernacle

(Exodus 25:1–9)

Againe, Moses spake vnto all the Congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the Lord commandeth, saying,

Take from among you an offering vnto the Lord: whosoeuer is of a willing heart, let him bring this offring to the Lord, namely golde, and siluer, and brasse:

Also blewe silke, and purple, and skarlet, and fine linen, and goates heare,

And rams skins died red, and badgers skins with Shittim wood:

Also oyle for light, and spices for the anointing oyle, and for the sweete incense,

And onix stones, and stones to be set in the Ephod, and in the brest plate.

The Skilled Craftsmen

And all the wise hearted among you, shall come and make all that the Lord hath commanded:

That is, the Tabernacle, that pauilion thereof, and his couering, and his taches and his boards, his barres, his pillars and his sockets,

The Arke, and the barres thereof ye Merci-seate, and the vaile that couereth it,

The Table, and the barres of it, and all the instruments thereof, and the shewe bread:

Also the Candlesticke of light and his instruments, and his lampes with the oyle for the light:

Likewise the Altar of perfume and his barres, and the anoynting oyle, and the sweete incense, and the vaile of the doore at the entring in of the Tabernacle,

The Altar of burnt offering with his brasen grate, his barres and all his instruments, the Lauer and his foote,

The hangings of the court, his pillars and his sockets, and the vaile of the gate of the court,

The pinnes of the Tabernacle, and the pinnes of the court with their cordes,

The ministring garments to minister in the holy place, and the holy garments for Aaron the Priest, and the garmentes of his sonnes, that they may minister in the Priests office.

The People Offer Gifts

Then all the Congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses.

And euery one, whose heart encouraged him, and euery one, whose spirit made him willing, came and brought an offring to the Lord, for the worke of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and for all his vses, and for the holy garments.

Both men and women, as many as were free hearted, came and brought taches and earings, and rings, and bracelets, all were iewels of golde: and euery one that offered an offring of gold vnto the Lord:

Euery man also, which had blewe silke, and purple, and skarlet, and fine linen, and goates heare, and rammes skinnes died red, and badgers skins, brought them.

All that offered an oblation of siluer and of brasse, brought the offring vnto the Lord: and euery one, that had Shittim wood for any maner worke of the ministration, brought it.

And all the women that were wise hearted, did spin with their hands, and brought ye spun worke, euen the blewe silke, and the purple, the skarlet, and the fine linen.

Likewise al the women, whose hearts were moued with knowledge, spun goates heare.

And ye rulers brought onix stones, and stones to be set in the Ephod, and in the brest plate:

Also spice, and oyle for light, and for the anoynting oyle, and for the sweete perfume.

Euery man and woman of the children of Israel, whose hearts moued the willingly to bring for all the worke which the Lord had commanded the to make by the hand of Moses, brought a free offring to the Lord.

Bezalel and Oholiab

(Exodus 31:1–11)

Then Moses sayde vnto the children of Israel, Beholde, the Lord hath called by name Bezaleel the sonne of Vri, the sonne of Hur of the tribe of Iudah,

And hath filled him with an excellent spirit of wisdome, of vnderstanding, and of knowledge, and in all maner worke,

To finde out curious workes, to worke in golde, and in siluer, and in brasse,

And in grauing stones to set them, and in karuing of wood, euen to make any maner of fine worke.

And he hath put in his heart that hee may teach other: both hee, and Aholiab the sonne of Ahisamach of the tribe of Dan:

Them hath he filled with wisdome of heart to worke all maner of cunning and broidred, and needle worke: in blewe silke, and in purple, in skarlet, and in fine linnen and weauing, euen to do all maner of worke and subtill inuentions.

Die Sabbatregeln

Moses also versammelte die ganze Menge der Söhne Israels und sprach zu ihnen: Dies ist es, was der Herr zu tun befohlen hat.

Sechs Tage sollt ihr arbeiten; der siebente Tag soll euch heilig sein; ein Sabbat und dem Herrn geweihte Ruhe; wer eine Arbeit an demselben verrichtet, soll getötet werden.

Am Sabbattage sollt ihr kein Feuer in allen euren Wohnungen anzünden.

Opfergaben für die Stiftshütte

(2. Mose 25,1-9)

Weiter sprach Moses zur ganzen Menge der Söhne Israels: Dies ist das Gebot, das der Herr gegeben hat:

Sondert die Erstlinge bei euch für den Herrn ab. Ein jeder bringe sie freiwillig, mit wohlgeneigtem Herzen dem Herrn dar: Gold und Silber und Erz,

blauen und roten Purpur, und doppelt gefärbten Karmosin, Byssus, und Ziegenhaare,

rotgefärbte Widderfelle, und bläuliche Felle, Akazienholz,

und Öl, die Lampen zu besorgen, und die Salbe zu bereiten, und wohlriechendes Räucherwerk,

Onyxsteine und andere Edelsteine zum Schmucke für das Schulterkleid und den Brustschmuck.

Die Gegenstände der Stiftshütte

Wer immer unter euch geschickt ist, möge kommen und alles das verfertigen, was der Herr geboten hat:

nämlich das Zelt, und seine Bedeckung und Umkleidung, die Ringe, und die Bretter mit ihren Querhölzern, die Pflöcke, und die Fußgestelle;

die Lade und die Querhölzer, den Gnadenthron, und den Vorhang, der vor demselben hängt;

den Tisch mit seinen Querhölzern und Geräten, und den Schaubroten;

den Leuchter zum Tragen der Lichter, seine Geräte und seine Lampen, und das Öl, um die Flamme zu nähren;

den Räucheraltar, und seine Querhölzer, das Salböl, und das Räucherwerk aus Spezereien; den Vorhang für den Eingang des Zeltes;

den Brandopferaltar und sein ehernes Gitterwerk, mit seinen Querhölzern und Geräten, das Becken mit seinem Fußgestell;

die Vorhänge des Vorhofes mit ihren Säulen und Fußgestellen, den Vorhang am Eingange des Vorhofes,

die Pflöcke des Zeltes und des Vorhofes mit ihren Stricken;

die Gewänder, die im Dienste des Heiligtums gebraucht werden, die Kleider Aarons, des Hohenpriesters, und seiner Söhne, dass sie mir als Priester dienen.

Die Darbringung der Opfergaben für die Stiftshütte

Hierauf ging die ganze Menge der Söhne Israels von dem Angesichte Moses hinweg,

und sie brachten sehr willig mit hingebendem Herzen die Erstlinge dem Herrn, zur Anfertigung des Zeltes des Zeugnisses dar. Alles, was zum Gottesdienste und zu der heiligen Kleidung nötig war,

brachten Männer und Weiber dar: Armspangen und Ohrengehänge, Ringe und Armbänder; allerlei goldene Geräte wurden abgesondert zum Geschenke für den Herrn.

Und alle, die blauen und roten Purpur, oder doppelt gefärbten Karmosin, Byssus und Ziegenhaare, rotgefärbte Widderfelle, oder bläuliche Felle,

Silber und Erz, und Akazienholz besaßen, brachten dies dem Herrn dar, zu mannigfacher Verwendung.

Aber auch die kunstverständigen Frauen brachten das, was sie gesponnen hatten, blauen und roten Purpur, und Karmosin, und Byssus,

und Ziegenhaare; freiwillig gaben sie alles.

Die Fürsten aber brachten Onyxsteine und andere Edelsteine zu dem Schulterkleide und dem Brustschmucke,

dazu Spezereien und Öl, die Lampen zu besorgen, und das Salböl zu bereiten, und das wohlriechende Räucherwerk herzustellen.

Alle, Männer und Frauen, brachten mit opferwilligem Herzen Geschenke dar, damit die Arbeiten ausgeführt würden, welche der Herr durch Moses geboten hatte. Alle Söhne Israels weihten dem Herrn freiwillige Gaben.

Die von Gott berufenen Kunsthandwerker

(2. Mose 31,1-11)

Hierauf sprach Moses zu den Söhnen Israels: Sehet, der Herr hat Beseleel, den Sohn Uris, des Sohnes Hur, aus dem Stamme Juda, namentlich berufen.

Und er hat ihn mit dem Geiste Gottes erfüllt, mit Weisheit und mit Einsicht, und Wissenschaft und mit allerlei Fertigkeit,

um Kunstwerke in Gold und Silber, und Erz zu erdenken und auszuführen,

und Steine zu schneiden, und Holzwerk zu bearbeiten. Was nur in der Kunst erfunden werden kann.

hat er ihm in´s Herz gegeben; und auch Ooliab, den Sohn Achisamechs, vom Stamme Dan;

beide hat er mit Weisheit erfüllt, dass sie allerlei Arbeit ausführen, wie sie der Zimmermann, der Kunstwirker und der Buntwirker in blauem und rotem Purpur, und doppelt gefärbtem Karmosin und Byssus machen, und dass sie alles weben, und allerlei Neues erfinden.
